single bend & dual bend shortshifters, differences

im interested in getting either a skunk2 single bend or dual bend short shiter, is one shorter than the other, do they shift different? thanks...

Action should be the same, just how it sits, and places the knob. I have hte teg now which is a dual, and before I had the single, the dual sits back a little more.
