everyone has 'potential'... If you've never thought about it on your own, IMO, you'll never get the mindset it takes to go at it 100%
People get 'introduced' to MMA all the time but 99% of the time they are already doing some aspect of MMA i.e. boxing, muay thai, wrestling, bjj, ect... You on the other hand just beat up druggies that walk into apartments lol...
I did muay thai for a year but I moved an hour and a half away from where my training center was at. i was only 14 (holy shit 10 years ago! time flies and i'm getting old
) at the time so I couldn't drive back and forth
and when I first moved to where I am now, they had ZERO Muay Thai gyms. Hell, one just opened up in my area like 4 months ago lol. They had one Shoalin(sp?) Kung-Fu dojo and one Tae Kwon Do dojo. No disrespect to those arts but they just aren't my thing...
I plan on starting muay thai again by the end of this year but I can't get competetive in it
I got a very sensitive nose and the clotting time of my blood is poor
I can scratch my nose too hard and it'll start gushing blood
