sohc rods? jdm vtec d15 & d16z6 rods the same??

Are the rods in the jdm sohc vtec D15 (130ps) the same rods that are in the d16z6? If not are they at least as strong? Im looking to boost 10-14 psi, but I dont want to on flimsy DX d15 rods..

Not completely sure. I know the rods are the same in a Z6 as a ZC and an A6.

i had heard the zc rods were beefier than any of our USDM d-series rods.

Yes they are! And they fit a Z6 and A6.
