sound deadener(sp?) removal

im stripping my rex out this weekend, anybody know of any solvents that will make my job easier or am i just gonna have to go crazy with the chizzle and the hammer.

Dry Ice works good. That way it will turn all stiff and brittle and it makes it come out real quick. Just wear leather gloves so you don't "burn" your hand
