I dunno. I just think it's cool shit that we have robots on Mars.

Combine that with the newest private funded ships (I am calling them Starships, I don't care what you say) I still think that within our lifetime we'll be travelling there almost like it's nothing. And by 2050 we'll have an outpost.

In 10 years we'll buy a "kit-ship" and put it together in the back yard. Take a trip to the Moon, dock with a huge hotel / casino / opium den, bounce around for a bit and go home.

We are progressing so damned fast.
