sputtered out and died

i went to town this morning, went into a store and came out to leave. i started my 95 civic ex, drove about 15 feet and the car sputtered out and died. i turn the key and it sounds fine but wont turn over all the way. im at a loss as to what the problem could be...timeing belt perhaps?

i could use some advice on what this could be or maybe some trouble shooting i could do to figure it out for myself. thanks in advance.

dont quote me on it but it sounds like timing belt broke possibly bending a few valves ...........ouch!
