What do ya need to know? I don't run Windows at all but I can answer questions about dual booting.

Linspire is a good place to start. Fedora is another good one.

I'm a Slack junkie. It requires more 'experience' to use, but the tradeoff in power and flexability are well worth it.

im running linspire

got fed up with windows and wanted to go to linux, dont know much about linux or the unix platform, so i figured this would be a good place to start
its a VERY easy transition from winXP to linspire

i might trade up to a more powerful version of linux in the future, but for now im quite happy with linspire :)
 
i'm fixin to install fedora core 3 tonight. any tips?? i awnt to be able to keep my XP, several of my programs I have to run for school I only have the windows based copy
