Start Up Problem

I have a b20 turbocharged. When I start my car in the morining and press the gas the car trys to stall. It will do this for about a minute and half before stopping. I have noticed a little bit of power loss when I get on the gas, but there has been no signifigant changes in the cars driving. Any ideas on what is causing this?

because it's cold maybe? are you letting it warm up before trying to get on it?
