That is true, but we give tax credits for multiple children.
Besides that, just getting big corporations to pay taxes will help us all. The middle class is the basis of our economy. Trickle down does not work. We spend nearly every dollar we make. We buy the goods and services that big businesses provide. They should coin a term called trickle up. When the working man does well, everyone wins. We don't drain the system, and we don't tax shelter our wages. We ask for health care, fair working conditions, and good wages.
Sounds like a rant but it's not. We have to disseminate information to the masses so that they can help change the broken system. I don't believe in being an activist for this, but I've taken my head out of the sand. The only way I can see to overpower big corporation's lobbying and bribery, is to simply spread the word.
