I'm after a turbo for a gsr B18C which will produce up to around 325hp, however I dont want it to be in boost (or under very little boost) until around 3500+ rpm. Any suggestions on what size/type of turbo to go with?
I was thinking about a Garrett T3/T04E....would this be appropriate for my goal?
k im going to get some 550 rc injectors and i think im going to run with the hondata cuz i have heard so many good thing about it and how easy it is to tune. i eventually will start to build the motor prolly this winter but until then im anxious to put it on but still would like to do it the right way......chris.deyoung the bigger the turbo most likely the higher rpms it will spool depending one turbo housin. i got a large turbo so i can boost when i really want to as well as get better gas mileage instead of a smaller one that will be boosting alot sooner
so crome or hondata? money isnt really an issue as long as it is going to be done right. the tuner that is going to dynotune it prefers hondata but im sure he can do crome as well...
this guy really does know what he is doing(9 second civic) he just was sayin put big ones in so i wontever have to get ones later and he can change the impedancelevel or something with the hondatafor the injectors to run however we need them. is thata good price for the hondata and tune and everything though?
okay i will do that thank you, so anyone know much about block gaurds? i have heard two different stories on them and they are fairly cheap so if it will do good i would like to install one
