stupid/simple clutch question

Which way does does the clutch mount? Does the extended spline part face in towards the motor or away? Thanks

it should say something along the lines of "flywheel side" on the disc itself.

There is an extremely easy way to tell which side is which. Honda clutch disks (and aftermarket ones) were only made to mount one way so you cant mess it up. Good Luck on the Repair, and dont worry bout it...

Yes it only seems to fit one way but the extended part is facing toward the motor not towards the tranny like kaoskustoms said. So now i am very confused. I need to get this done ASAP 3" of snow in the forceast for tomorrow The clutch is for a Z6 which i am mounting to a act prolight flywheel on a DOHC ZC motor with a ex tranny, so everything should work together fine. HELP!
