Taillight Mod On Crx

my buddy came to me the other day and was like dude u should put Prelude lights in the back of your car... i started thikin and i was lioke....well i wonder if i could get clear taillights, take out the center section (paint white like the car) then paint the bottom half of each one red... how would that look? would it look stupid? be rice? gay? im not sure wut it would look like... so all opinions reccommended...

werent tail-light conversions played out way back in 1965?

its almost as bad as a certain someone in So. Cali with a 1995 mr2
with lexus suv headlights, supra tails and an actual ferrari fenders...

it's not as bad as a lime green EK in carson that has Mustang taillights...it's just wrong, so so ugly...
