So tonite after class I'm taking 3 ASE tests, A1 Engine Repair, A4 Suspension & Steering, and A5 Brakes. After that, next Tuesday the 14th I'm taking A3 Manual Drivetrain & Axles, A7 Heating & Air Conditioning, and A6 Electrical. After this and 3 more months of school/work, I'll have my 2 years 'work experience', and provided I pass the tests (which I don't anticipate being too much of a problem), I'll be certified!:fosho3:

They aren't hands on, they're 'Tech A/Tech B' questions...i.e. 'Tech A says adjusting an idler arm enables settings to allow the vehicle to turn in a tighter circle. Tech B says the adjustment is to give the driver more road feel. Who is correct?' and you choose between Tech A only, Tech B only, Both, or Neither. (in that instance, neither would be correct).

And they're supposed to be difficult as shit. Something like 80 questions per test. You're generally supposed to take one or two tests at a time, but I don't feel like waiting another 6 months to take more when I'm pretty sure I can pass at LEAST four of them in one swoop.

what school are you attending. i have a uti down the st. i'm thinking about going, but its $$,$$$.

break a leg

I still think going to a regular college was a major mistake. But unfortunately, UTI or Wyo wasn't an option when I graduated HS.
