I say, no. Nissan, you created finance plans that catered to those who can't afford the car in the first place. Thus, associating the cars/brand/image/ with a class for those who have money to put their money in other brands. Plus, Insurance is through the roof. No one is buying a 50k brand new Altima because there's no resale. No one wants the used Altima.
We had high hopes for the new Z. It's not all that, and it's too pricey for basically anyone who wants it. This needed to be WRX-comptitive price wise, and it's STI-price wise.
The nismo - forget about it.
Killing off the GTR? why? it was the only anchor your brand had left. It needed a facelift and a new drive line, that's all.
Killing the Titan? It didn't compete because it was a pile of crap. Quality killed this one.
Pro-4x line -- it had potential. But it was clear you were always chasing the Tacoma instead of innovating. And the aftermarket didn't support it.
If you want to turn the line around,
Fix the brand image in the US. Kia's are more respected.
Stop wasting time with China. There's no profit there.
Reduce your offerings. Too much variety and too much crap without QC making them good cars.
Increase your warranty to be competitive.
