d16a6/d16y8 "mini-me"
Ok, here is the speel about what I have currently done engine wise. I have rebuilt my D16a6 block with all new:
-OEM pistons
-OEM wrist pins
-OEM gasket set
-OEM oil pan, because my old one had a lot of larger pin-holes in it!
-OEM thrust washers
-NASCAR true-circle piston rings
-Clevite main/rod bearings
-Royal Purple synthetic engine rebuild lube, I will be using synthetic engine oil (I am not sure on which company though), and I know this will be really expensive but I plan to keep this engine top notch for racing.

FUTURE PLANS FOR D16a6 BLOCK:
-ARP mixed (D16a6/D16y8) head stud kit
-OEM 3-ply D16y8 head gasket

Now, onto the D16y8 cylinder head. I had the head somewhat OEM rebuilt, by myself, with new parts such as:
-OEM valve stem seals
-OEM (VTEC) solenoid seal
-VISION 5-way adjustable cam gear
LEFT UN-DONE:
-Valve stems
-Valve seats
-Valve spring retainers
-Camshaft

*The following information refers to the cylinder head COMPLETELY apart*

I am going to be doing a racing application. My plans are as follows:
-Crower "stage 2" camshaft
-(not sure what brand, please help fill this spot!) "stage 2" valve keepers
-(not sure what brand, please help fill this spot!) "stage 2" valve retainers
-(not sure what brand, please help fill this spot!) "stage 2" valve springs
-(not sure what brand, please help fill this spot!) "stage 2" valve stems, if needed
-Cast iron turbo, d-series, exhaust manifold
-Port and polish, then flow benched
-Skunk2 intake manifold with B-series 70mm throttle body

That is pretty much it for my speel.
