tranny bracket

i have a rear tranny bracket from a type R integra can i use that t-bracket to do a b18 swap in a 99 EK or do i have to get the SI rear T-bracket ??

i have a gsr bracket that did not fit when i did my swap. had to buy the si one, it is shorter.

i just found that out LOL..... fun stuff
the type R braket that i have is an inch longer
so i'm attemting to modify the braket so far i've trimmed out a bit of the inside so i can get it to sit farther back
and i've redrilled the mount hole 1 inch closer
now i have to get it to clear the cross member - it's got a lip and if i can get it 1/2 inch i'm golden

this is for anyone who is reading you can make a integra rear tranny bracket fit in a EK
it takes a little cutting and welding but i got it to work !!

Yah. props to you for hacking. I was going to cut up my D bracket to make it fit or build one but I got lazy and just bought it. It was so much easier. Then i had to try to get it to fit with the motor already in the car....eeek!
