On Yahoo, the city I live in made one of the top ten cities for increasing housing prices, but they failed to mention that the median price was just over 100k. We just put a down payment on an 85k house.

Buffalo is even cheaper. Problem is the taxes are a bit higher, but you can still make out like a bandit on a house up here.
