haha...sorry to the original poster...i will add my input first, before i bash into this kid...buy the muffler that fits your needs, such as the one that gives you the right sound that you want and the application for which you are building your car...if you are going with a turbo, a larger muffler will be needed followed by a larger exhaust system. Staying N/A u wont need a large exhaust, but your exhaust tone will be louder...i hope that helps
now, i have to tear into this newb...ricer has nothing to do with the race of the person. It referes to the origin of the car, which in honda's case is japan, which is a country which likes its rice. It is a term used to describe the kids who wanted their cars to look like the cars in that awesome documentary, what was it called? gay and the curious? the reason i hate people like you is because typically, people that add wings onto a fwd car and add flames to a import car have no fucking clue what they are doing. They give bad names to real tuners. These ricers are trend followers who think the more shit they add to the car, the "cooler" it will be. people like you are the reason why the rest of the automobile enthusiest look down on us, even though we have honda's running in the 8's, they only picture that 4 door civic with 3 wings in the back. u think people that run these flaming homo vehicles are tuners? god, you have no clue. sure, theres a few people with flames and graphics and wings and hood scoops with widebodys, with exhausts that shoot flames with decently fast cars, but cmon, most of the people like that have stock motors, with a ebay intake and spark plug wires which supposedly add 50 horsepower. The reason for my original statement was this "i like my exhaust big and loud", which is one of my pet peeves. the only reason you would need a big exhaust, is if you had a turbocharged engine, but if you had a turbocharged engine, you exhaust would not be loud. I had a N1 style exhaust on my car before i put my turbo on and it was loud as fuck...i hated it, but i needed it, because i needed the straight-through design and larger inlet...once i put the turbo on my motor, my car sounded quiet...get my point? i that my friend, is why you are a ricer.
