V-TEC coming in way too late.

92 honda civic w/gsr run by a p30 ecu. the vtec is coming in at 6k. it seems like the valves are floating by then. what gives? how can i remove the intake butterflies? i think they are restricting my air flow.

v-tec comes at 5800, unless you buy a vtec controller you're stuck with that- However, unless you have some work done, you won't gain any advantage by drastically moving your vtec crossover point all over the place

secondly, removing the butterflies is not even worth the time and effort it would take for the extra power- sell the IAB manifold and buy a skunk2
