VAFC SETTINGS

I got a vafc controller and I just want to install it with out causing any problems the wiring is not the problem it the setting after turning it on how do I set it without seriously damaging the car performance wise. If it helps I have a 92 civic hatch w/ a d16z6

Just run it flat ( not adjusted) till you can get it on a dyno with wideband, and then have a tuner play with it.

set it for 4 cyl. car, arrow pointing uppter right corner, pressure sensor type 06 in and 06 out, and set all your fuel settings at 0%

isn't there a way on the vafc to set it not to even run just to use it as a vtec controller and a sensor checker?

Yes just hook it up and leave it at zero, like 92b16vx said. just use the cross over setting for what you want.
