I may have posted some of these before, not sure...over the last few years I've had the opportunities to work at a few different shops, mostly doing high-end European and Exotic cars, but some classic muscle. I do mostly mechanical and electrical repairs, but I'm fairly skilled with paintwork as well, so I did the paintwork on a handful of classic muscle restorations.
I've worked my way up and earned a reputation for myself, and I've been lucky enough to tear apart, put together, fabricate, and beat the ever-loving shit out of some of the most expensive, most badass cars on the road.
Enjoy.
First, a crappy panoramic of my current shop:
Underground Racing TT Lamborghini Gallardo:
Various 996's, a 993, Ferrari 430 Spider, and a Ford GT
993, 996, 997
A couplea 996 GT2's
997 with a Switzer kit
89 Testarossa
'73 E-type
430 Spider
Testarossa, 996's and a 997
Single turbo kit on a Cayman
Semi-old-school diesel
Blow-through intercooler setup on a 996
Ford GT
79 308GTS
For a few months in early 2011, I worked for Jeff Pate over at Classic Cars of Houston / Sports Car Garage. Not the greatest work environment, as it was hot as fuck in the warehouses...but Jeff does amazing work on classic muscle cars, and for the short time I was there I got to work on some pretty sweet-ass cars, even though classic muscle isn't particularly my thing. I left CCOH partially because of some family issues I had to take care of, as well as hours and pay that really weren't working that great for me. Jeff is a great guy though, anyone in the area that's got any type of classic or restoration work should look him up, he's hands down THE most meticulous resto guy I've ever worked for/with.
