It's pretty good when it wants to cooperate. It just sometimes likes to piss me off, but only once in a while. I'd recommend it. Great tool to use with DVD2avi, tmpgenc, etc. I'd also recommend getting "vdub freeze", modified tool to detect and delete cruddy frames within video.

Its not really much of a production tool, more like a nice editor or compressor.
