vtec pressure switch ground wire

I have a rywire vtec harness adaptor for my 93 Prelude si ,I have the harness properly placed and pinned in the p13 ecu. Here is the issue: When I ground the vtec pressure switch ,the engine will not start . If I disconnect the ground wire then start the engine and ground it immediately kills the engine. Any help appreciated .
