Nope, jst stuck it on. Though I will advice, if you can use some high temp sealant, if for nothing else to hold it in place while you put it in. If you don't, you'll see why I recommend it

Well, last time i put it in, it got cocked as I slid it on. So when I was changing out the pan yesterday, I thought "ok I'll just reuse my 30 dollar gasket, but since I torqued it down crooked, it got torn up

Brand new oem pan+ new gasket + rewired pressure switch= problem solved. Vtack for the win y0!
