My friend wants me to help him on his 90 b18a1 teg.I was wondering what would be some good choices for him to do wit that motor?I heard to do the v-tec swap but will that really help?All the help woul dbe great.Thanks

vtec head swap should add approx 30-40 horse...

vtec motor swap would net about the same...

custom turbo could add 50-75...

Crower 403s, Springs/Retainers, I/H/E possibly some tuning. You'll do alright.

LS turbo..he has the perfect building platform to do it..it does not require any type of head swap of any sort..just build the block...build the head..and boost it...he will see some good numbers.

Sometimes I think im wasting my $ with this head... I have a full crower ls head with the 403s... IF I run 15s im gonna kick my dog.

i would do a turbo set up...however if he wants to go all motor the a head swap would not be a bad idea....
