Today I watched my temp gauge climb up pretty high...got home and let the motor cool down and then opened the cap and added coolant to see if it was low or what...Filled her up...started it and after a min of running it looked like my rad had gotten rabies...Whats wrong? Its a whiteish foam...Anything I should know?

I think that means your fins are fucked on the radiator...check and see if there is any holes...

and next time use a funnel and pour right out of the container. or be like me and have a plastic gas can labeled coolant in big black letters. wasnt labeled until i saw my dad grab it to put in the leaf blower. that probably would have been cool.

this has the potential to be a head gasket, oil in your coolant situation...
