What Vtec Head Do I Need?

I have a 89 integra I am putting back together for my cousin. I have a fresh short block and fresh 5 speed trans already installed and would like to use both. I was told I could put a vtec head on this D16A1 motor for a little extra power. I know I will have to wire the vtec, but what head would I look for? This motor was a DOHC, does that matter?
Any help will be appreciated.

There is no DOHC D series vtec.You can't mix D and B series,or SOHC and DOHC heads and blocks.So in short,no there is no vtec head you can put on it.

There are things you can do to build it up,but for that engine,I am not sure.Someone else can offer that advice.

Jackson Supercharger or Turbo. Or B16, but requires mount kit. It would be worth it though.

Where do you get the mount kit for the B16? How much are they?

HAsport makes them,but you can get them cheaper in other places.Forgot who sells them,I think Hybrid Garage has 'em for less.
