I'm SO glad I got a starter bike. I am SO glad I learned and aced my MSF course. I am SO glad that I took bike rides so seriously.
I didn't clown around, I respected the 250 everymoment I had it, I loved that bike.
But it's gone. I traded it in . I had $2500 left on the payments, I was getting $2500 offers for trade, so I decided to move up this year instead of next.
I rode a few things, even some scooters (Which is funny.. a 250cc scooter blows my Ninja away up till 40 mph). I rode the
Triumph 1050 (Which is a significant bike)
Honda Interceptor VFR800, 2004
I liked them, I really did. The Interceptor has a TOUCHY throttle, and it bit me during the test ride. Again, what little experience I had potentially saved me a bad injury.
And I also rode, and bought, a 2001 Ninja ZX12R with 2000 miles on it.
