Hey everyone,

I’m considering getting my car windows tinted but I’m a bit overwhelmed by all the options such as ceramic, carbon, metallic, and dyed tints. My main goals are to reduce interior heat during summer and add some privacy without making the windows too dark or illegal.

I’ve also heard that some tints can interfere with GPS or radio signals, which I’d like to avoid.

For those who’ve done window tinting recently, what type and percentage do you recommend?

Also, how much did you pay, and was it worth it in the long run?

thanks in advance for any help

Ceramic
Blocks heat and doesn't mess with any reception, also less likely to fade or bubble over time
You can get it in pretty much any time level you want, they even have films that are almost no tint at all designed for use on windshield that still block something like 75% of heat and UV energy

If you are going to spend the money, get it done right
