Where Is The Temo Sensor On My Sol

my engine is overheating because my fan is coming on. my fan is good, i know because i jumped it to the battery and it came on, and the fuese is not blown, so it has to be the sensor. where is the temp sensore on a d seies motor. it's a d15b7 block witha d16y8 head. please help.

At the end of the upper radiator hose if I remember right. Nope it's the lower, and has a brown end on it. Doesn't sound like the sensor though, more like a relay or shorted wire.

nope it was the sensor, i looked in my hayens manuel and i replaced it and it runns good now, nomore overheating.
