The US allows him to be president. Because he was born into the family of a rich oil tycoon, doesn't guarantee power.
But daddy's friends on the supreme court do.

He was in the National Guard, and his record is uncontested. It was Clinton that wormed his way out of the military. Also, using 3 minor wounds to get out of active duty after 4 months is worming your way out.
He got a cushy no conflict job while others were out there dying. Hell, Clinton even admitted on national TV that he dodged the draft. However baby Bush used his daddy's connections to get a military position that guaranteed that he wouldn't have to do anything.
Also, wasn't there a bit of a fluff about him going AWOL and not submitting to a physical?
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
[/quote]
Nope. He released his documents, after accusations of AWOL and hiding. His career wasn't as "War Hero", then again, he never claimed it to be - And unlike Kerry doesn't introduce his speeches with "I am a WAR HERO!" It is through Kerry's self-indulgence alone that he is under scrutiny. Bush doesn't ever say "Vote for me, I'm a war hero!". He served in the National Guard. In Texas. The end.
Kerry did fight, he did get shot at. More than I can say for Bush. How about you?
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
Bush wasn't in combat. Kerry was in combat for about a few weeks less than his Summer vacations in the Alps.
By Aiding the Enemy, you mean.. what ?
Please, I would like to hear this one.
They were out of the country by then. Doesn't help one bit if you can't get your hands on them.
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
Yes, they were. Bin Laden has been in the FBI hotseat since before 1998. His family were decidedly non-combative since at least 1998. Do you suggest we hold his family hostage? Saddam did things like that.
Dunno about you, but I was pretty damn happy payng 0.99 per gallon of premium to fill my car. What happened? Ohhhh... putting two and two together here:
"family of a rich oil tycoon" and
"Saudi Arabia supplies us with lots of oil. adds up to a jar of vaseline at each pump so the ass fucking isn't as painful.

Our dealings and relationship with OPEC are what keeps us well below the international average for fuel costs. We were all pretty happy spending pennies for gasoline. And movies. And ice cream. Those were the days.
Alright. Let's start this one off. Pakistan paid Muhammad Atta some 100 grand in the time before 9/11. For those of us currently residing under a rock. He's the one believed to have been the leader of the 9/11 hijackings. Source:

Secondly, the reason for the terror alert recently was due to the arrest of a Qeada operative working out of.... drumroll please... Pakistan! Source:

Yup. Pakistan is evil, to me and to you. I don't like Pakistan, but that's just my well formed and educated opinion. Unfortunately, contrary to popular belief we can't occupy and destroy a country because we don't like them. This proves that very sentiment.
Suuuuuure... and the independent investigation of the USS Columbia was poised by enemies to make NASA look bad. Oh, oh! The investigation into Pearl Harbor was to make Roosevelt look bad too!
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
No, that's false.
If Rice hadn't had white house protection, she'd be assfucked till the end of time for perjury. I do have a list, but that would take up a god amount of space.
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
Why would you say that? She was asked by the president and his staff to not speak to the panel, until it was clear what was going to be discussed. This is how security works. If people in high places spoke routinely and without reservation, what kind of security would that be?
In his report before Congress, Chief US Weapons Inspector David Kay announced that he has found no evidence of any Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, and further finds that the ones that Iraq did have before the first Gulf War were likely destroyed soon afterwards.
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
Yup. How did our troops get attacked with chemical weapons? They just appeared ?
Let me say that again, so it can sink in. No. Weapons. Of. Mass Destruction. Not over 25,000 liters of anthrax. Not 38,000 liters of botulinum toxin. Not 500 tons of sarin, mustard and VX nerve agent. Not upwards of 30,000 munitions capable of delivering chemical agents. Those are all direct quotes from the State of the Union speech in 2003, and instead, what they found was a bag of expired Doritos, a jar of mayonnaise that had been left in the sun for a week and a few old bottles of "Crystal Pepsi".
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
Stockpiles have been found. Evidence of stockpiles were found. No smoking gun. Again, these chemicals are being used so they must come from somewhere. Must be Big Fat Liar Heaven.
Cheney was the Halley CEO for quite some time.
How much is a six month tour for a US soldier?
Cheap electricity. One word: ENRON.
So he doesn't have to tell the truth about what was going on? Why not? What's he got to hide?
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
National Secrets
One thing to blame for this is outsourcing... something Bush himself said is a good thing. Well it is... the corps get to pay workers next to nothing, hit tax loopholes like a four foot bong and sleep on piles and piles of profit cash.
We benefit how?
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
You'll have to ask Teresa Heinz who just moved the two last US Heinz factories to China.
China has enough military and arms to destroy us in less than 24 hours. C'mon.
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
False. Nothing short of an asteroid hit on US soil could level the military playing field of global military might.
Nothing.
How are we the most financed military when soldiers have to credit card their own body armor?
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
Again, Ask Senator Kerry who voted against it.
They hate us because we blow up anything we don't like and we don't take the time to figure out what actually happened before taking action.
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
Please pardon the Bold. But this is important to me.
Right now, there are US Marines and Soldiers surrounding a Mosque that is holding Al-Sadr. Their rifles are pointed inward, but aren't allowed to actually fire upon a religious building. This is why AlSadr is hiding there. Outside this ring of brave marines is a mob of thousands of angry, ignorant and mis-informed Muslims who are ready to drown the US soldiers in mob violence the likes we have never seen. Every minute, they are being bused into town and their numbers are growing. The Press has been commanded out of the region, and precious moments are passed while negotiators are sent in to deal with the SAME MAN that beheaded two americans on video. If nothing is done, soon, our soldiers will face a mass riot the likes of which world history has never seen - Imagine for a moment - Mogadishu will be a welcome site to this kind of slaughter. I pray and hope that our men are able to make it out of that block alive. But chances are, They won't. And no one will see their fight, no one will read their story.
Reagan gave us Star Wars...
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
Star Wars won the Cold War. No comment ?
Bush Sr. took us into Iraq. We attacked the man we put into power over there in the first place.
Bush Jr. did the exact same thing... while we should have put 100% of our efforts into finding 'Sammy.
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
Saddam invaded our ally. Who the hell is Sammy ?
Read the patriot act. NO! READ IT.
[post=377483]Quoted post[/post]
Patriot Act was written in the 70's. You think you were born free?
Finally, in response to George Bush's "Comfy" job as a National Guard Pilot.. I'm glad not everyone regards our service men in this flippant, disrespectful way.
