It's not, In 'N Out is disgusting and HIGHLY overrated. Five Guys on the other hand in the Mid-Atlantic (VA, DC, MD etc...) is hands down the best burger out there, even better than home grilled

I personally like In-N-Out for a lot of reasons.

1) Taste
2) Quality
3) Price isnt too bad
4) Good employee treat = better customer service
5) Usually clean stores

i'm with you, zeal. i prefer the ingredients fresh. which they are. they fucking shred the potatoes in front of the drive thru window. they also have to break the heads of lettuce and slice the tomatoes. and it tastes much better. their meat patties aren't flash frozen.
