b series rev higher in stock form. thats the only thing i can think about. h22 swaps are also more hard to come by than b-series. there isn't a whole lot of reliability problems that i know of.
I was searching around the forum, curious about h22 swap info and the issue of reliablity of the h22 kept coming up in the threads, so I wanted to know if it was true or not.
Im thinking about buying a hatch and doing an h22 swap in it for a project.
My first idea was to put and h22 into my ek hatch, but that kinda got thrown out the window for an LS because I found a really good deal on one.
from what i hear the h series cylinder walls can warp if youve been running them hard all day. so if you race all day i wouldnt get one. a b series seems to be a lot better anyways. i would turbo a non vtec b18b1 before i build a GSR or type R anyday too!
