why my car jump off the line??

last friday i went out racing and i tried 2 race and i rev'ed to 3,000 and let clutch go and my car jumped and it came out 1st gear... i tired agian and same shit happened.. why is that happening?

its not being held in gear? mine did the same thing when I let 1st gear wind down from 5500 rpm. transmission shops are the way to go.

Same thing happened when I ran my friends Civic with H22 down the track. I had like a 4 second 60' when that shit happened. Not sure what causes it... but I just held that bastard in gear on the launches after that.
