tell your friend to suck it, first off you don't need an obd2 engine, they're hard to work with, and second its practically the same motor you already have in there, it makes the same amout of power, unless you wanna swap it for the lesser miles or something, but if you do decide to buy it and swap it in it'll fit right in place of the motor you already have, oh and on a last note 1000 is a little much for that whole swap
