im not sure what your reasoning is on wanting to use the obd2 ecu but if it is for no other reason than that is the ecu you have i would suggest sticking with obd1, its better by a long shot, but if you want i can make you a conversion harness, it will work perfect, that is assuming you are running an obd2 motor and have everything wired up properly, otherwise you will throw codes left and right
