y8 oil pump

Ive done some research and i cant find the answer. Can i use a z6 oil pump on a y8? I dont no how shim it but i can port. please help me out...o and what oil pan will i have to run?

im pretty sure the y8 pump is different and pumps more oil than the z6 pump, therefore meaning you shouldnt use it..as for oil pans, you need a y8 oilpan, the z6 pan will fit but wont bolt up completely, one ot 2 holes wont line up right, meaning it wont seal right.

ok so shoul i have it shim or buy a high out put oil pump? i think it would be worth the money the oil pump i found was for like 205 so its not to much
