this z6 is in a STD ef .,,, p28 ..all obd 1 components, rywire jumper...
I did a search on this same topic, and none of them came to a solid conclusion. One guy that had the same problem said he had his TPS and MAP sensors switched. :gont see how it would even idle.
Anyway, so I checked the CAT, not clogged. Swapped dizzys with a known good one. Reset the ECU to eliminate limp mode. Fuel pressure was checked and stays atleast 35+ psi. Triple checked continuity to all sensors and injectors. Good.
I am getting a CEL of code 4. (crank position sensor) Checked wires from the ecu to the dizzy. Good.
The only thing I still need to check is an unlikely clogged vtec valve, but Im thinking I would get a code for it. (not always, right)
The engine idles very good and revs good until about 3k. So as far as the belt having skipped is also out of the question. (it also was verifed)
Any ideas?
