Z6 engine/clutch + EF Si trans???

I need to know if a crx Si trans (input shaft/starter) will work with the clutch and flywheel on my D16Z6 from my del sol, I might have my shell traded and am hoping I wont need to purchase a new clutch.

I also have a CX flywheel with a brand new clutch, if that will work, I heard the cx flywheel is a pound or two lighter than the Z6

I think it will work, Im going to be putting a Z6 in my GFs CRX so I was going to use the Si cable tranny on the Z6. Its the 88-89 that have a different clutch/flywheel, 90 on Ds all have the same clutch/fylwheel. Im not 100% sure of this though.

As long as it isn't an '88 it'll work on any '89+ D-Series.

So its just the 88' then, thanks for clearing it up for me, I knew there was one that was a little different.
