The thing I can't believe no one is mentioning about the debates is how they both sucked. Both of them are just politics as usual. I back that statement up by saying that both sides agreed to the rules of the debate before hand, and neither one of them could follow them. Neither candidate could directly answer a question or stick to a topic. They both were very good at going over the alotted time per question, and tieing said questions answer into a rebuttal from the last question or tieing it into a totally unrelated answer. They will both fail this country horribly
Both candidates are sorry sacks of fuck. Niether could answer a question directly, it was disgusting, I got a little vomit in the back of my throat from that crap.
I wish I had 4 hands...
....so I could give this debate 4 thumbs down
Sounds good but working for ourselves provides the greatest benefit for everyone involved. Working together for each other is a pipe dream and is why socialism and communism fail and fail hard. Otherwise, I agree fully with everything else.
No it means with all the fucked up money situations right now I don't know whether I want to keep the country financially stable and give up freedom to socialism or if I want to keep my freedom and not have all the nice material possessions. (Obviously sarcasm)
I'm sorry a lot of times im not clear on what I'm thinking.
I just had to ask because democrats are historically fiscally irresponsible, and republicans tend to be less is more.
IMO, McCain didn't do as well in this one. It seemed like Obama had the more solid debate (based upon form); McCain had some awkward moments with questions from the croud IMO. Thoughts?
Fuck the debates, House wasn't on tonight because of that thing
I didn't watch the first debate, but with this one I felt like Obama tried skating around too many of the questions. McCain even called him out on one of them, and then answered the question himself.
Obama seems more clear cut and somewhat of a better speaker, but is very inexperienced with his ideals on what he wants to accomplish vs what the US can afford him to accomplish.
Yes.I can't believe people think obama is a great speaker
he says
two words
at a time
and then
pumps his hand
a little bit
ok
and its not
that i expect
a president
to be
an orator
i expect
him OOORRRRR her
to be able to form
a complete thought
all at once
not in groups
or phrases
are you annoyed yet?
I only heard him do that when he was starting out one of his talking points. Guess I wasn't paying attention. I was going off the fact that he didn't stutter around his words and take half his minute to get one sentence out like McCain did.
