91 Integra LS engine and dash wire harness swap

I'm dropping a 91 Integra LS engine in my 91 CRX DX, I have the engine in and need to know if Ican just use both dash and engine harness from the integra. i'm keeping the CRX dash.

in theory im sure its possible, but to spend the time and effort to do it, all the extra disassembly, all the bits that could go missing or break, and to have to do it to two cars, its just not worth it when you can just convert to mpfi or go and buy an Si.

I thought that using both harnesses would keep the engine as original as possible and avoid wiring problems. if i got an Si harness, will it be a plug and play solution or will i still have to do any wiring? will it plug into the LS ECU without any major re-wiring? thanks to all for the info, i can't wait to get her back on the road, im also installing a true cold air intake, new 2.5" header and catback exhaust. all the front drive train has been replaced with the tegs and later on im replacing the rear breaks. i'd like to replace the gas tank since the teg's is larger but don't know if it would fit. thanks again for all the info.

I found the original CRX DX (setup for auto tranny) in the garage, i'll be doing the MPFI conversion this weekend; i'll let you all know how it goes.

you need to use the harness for the stock motor and convert it. si wont work because your car is not wired for it. its not as easy as plug and play for any harness. i dont think the gas tank thing will work.

It's back to the drawing board; i don't have the DX engine harness so i'll have to use the LS harness for both the cabin and engine.

dx and si have different cabin harness's they also have different engine harness's the integra harness's are different again, the integra engine harness won't work with either th dx or si cabin harness, this goes for any other combination of harness's from these cars. b series will work with si cabin and engine harness with 1 or 2 small tweaks, b series will also work with the dx engine and cabin harness but with a more complicated harness mod than the si
