Why not leave the headlights the way they are? I hate it when I can't see someones tailights because they are blacked out.
How is the 2.2 in that thing? I had an 03 zr2 with the 4.3 and it was very under powered.
2.2 is really slow and for some reason im getting shitty mileage.tomorrow im getting plugs,wires,oil and ordering a cold air because the filter is shot and the stock system is JUNK!.

People that black out their taillights piss me the fuck off. Its dangerous. I'm always tempted to smash out their lenses.

their 4cyls get worse real world mileage than their 6s because you have to floor the 4 constantly to go anywhere.
 
Im with eg. Paint the insides of the lights. Look up the whistler mod. Thats what the F Body crowd calls it, but its done elsewhere too.

Please do not put hid's in your shitty factory halogen housings. Retrofit or none. Besides, using hids in a halogen lamp is hardly brighter than a halogen bulb.
 
ahhh!! the Honda Civic of the mini truck world....LOL. and im not bullshitting you either honestly because they make so much bolt-on stuff for them that its rediculous (including air ride). you may get some useful info from s10forum.com (why i know this site, i have no clue...lol).

on a serious note tho, nice looking truck and i would say to bag that bitch and lay it out on some 22s (yes they fit on there with no problem and tuck NICE).

yea ive found a good amount of stuff for it.my only issue is how crammed the engine bay is.but i would love nothing more than to bag it.most likely will when i get to NC.


anyway.i ordered tint(i know how to tint and am saving a shit ton by doing so) cold air intake,bought oil(castrol gtx 10w30 and wix oil filter)duralast plug wires.ngk v-power copper plugs.a 500watt dual amp,12" dual sub,truck box,new wiper blades,and some other random stuff to add.
 
right on man. well when you go to lower it, check out control arms that Michigan Metal Works (Michigan Metal Works) makes. they are badass and well designed. they are a small company but do some badass stuff. ive seen there stuff and its definately hardcore and will take any abuse you put to them. not to mention they are a great bunch of guys. if you need anymore suggestions of where to get stuff, ask me as ive got tons of places for you to check out. also, picking up MiniTruckin' and/or Street Trucks magazines will give you ideas, info and places to check out. lemme know if you need any other places.

btw, where at in NC are you moving to? im moving to Greenville in early August.

just got back from a buddies house.man chevy had a dumb idea when they did the ignition in this thing.the coils are located on the side of the block under the intake manifold..so a simple plug and wire job took

but anyways.number 1 plug is between the valve cover and ac compressor.the plug wires run from the driverside of the head over the valve cover in between intake manifold runners 1 and 2 then down between bottom of the manifold and block to the coil pack under the manifold.all held together in loom that is factory ziptied.so i pulled the boot end off and pulled them through 1 at a time..after all was said and done i re-routed them and ziptied them away from harm..oil was changed now waitin on the intake(should be here tuesday) oh and i have a couple exhaust leaks that i need to fix,gas mileage blows in this thing.
 
wait until you take the bed off to bag and 4-link it. thats fun since Chevy decided to put the bed bolts UNDER the truck....LOL.

oh and i can understand what you are saying about replacing spark plugs. the ones closest to the firewall on my Ranger are (well were) a pain to get to. i removed a bunch of shit under the hood and now i can get to my spark plugs without tearing up my knuckles.
