Haha, thanks. I am originally from Colorado, grew up in a body shop, tore apart my first car at 15 (1973 Datsun Z) but it was sold out from under me. After that I kind of lost my passion for it. Once I moved to Texas I wrecked my car and had the opportunity to buy a Civic which I had wanted for a while. Bought the FG1, totally overpaid for a car that has serious rust issues, and was heavily abused by the previous owner.

After breaking so many bolts and threatening to sacrifice my car I decided it was time to pick up a project car. Found Big Red on the list, bought her at 1am in a sketchy neighborhood totally riced out and ever since I've been bringing her back to life. Right now she is in need of some serious work just to get her running properly with her current D16z6 but I am really rusty on driving stick so I need to get that motor running and drive on it consistently before I swap.

Any questions besides TOGTFO?

AOGTFO?

lol im totally serious.

how do you not have a big ole truck living in texas

Welcome to the board....it's not that bad...some of these people actually know their shit so i wouldn't be surprised if you learn a thing or two. Stay away from B's advice though.

Those wheels are HeLLa FluSH

What K motor are you thinking of swapping in the EJ?

Haha I need to roll my fenders and drop a pinch more, I want meaty fitment.

I have a K24A4 on hold in town till I get paid again

Good luck with the K-swap. I did mine a little while ago. It's not too bad/difficult. So many parts to make it easier/faster. But their prices can add up quick. But certain corners can be cut to save a little cash.

I'm getting a good deal on the k24, I'm getting it for $600 (I've only been able to find them around here for $1k+).
