I agree that might be a better plan on just throwing the cash down instead of against existing loan , I love the car but im almost 1/2 way through warranty , and havent told you guys but had 2 transmissions warrantied , shift cables, transmission mount, a seatbelt , cooling relay assembly

holy crap!! i am 56K through my 100K warranty. so far they have replaced the transmission under warranty (42K / grinding and popping out of 2nd) and i paid for a new clutch assembly. other than small minor issues with my local dealer, its been tits. you just bought the wrong brand... lol

How hard do you drive it? Maybe stop hooning it? And think also they might subtract some from your trade in for all the "tasteful mods" you've done.... I know I wouldn't ever buy a used car that was tweaked in any way.

Ive got a 60k warranty im right above 13000 miles, I honestly dont drive it hard the transmissions are a known problem and alot of the other stuff were recall replacements , and they have given me 0 slack on my mods and it would be returned to stock before trading in lol ive even currently got the tune off of it where we had the gas crisis and I could only get 87 octane , what dings me on value most is where dude hit me at 202 miles

you're more like 1/4 through warranty...
You are correct , but also closer to out of warranty lower value, more time more depreciation, also the accident where I got hit at 202 miles hits my trade in value too, I don't know again it's not going to be anything overnight and I love the car very much just not all the issues I've been having lately

Doesn't sound like you have much room to talk....

How many Honda transmissions have you heard of needing replacement after 42,000 miles? Or even Chevrolet transmissions for that matter?

My vehicle has also had 2 hard seasons of autocross and track driving the 2nd gear issue I wouldn't exactly call the cars fault. Last season I dominated the club in my Ecobox with bolt ons and slicks this year I've dialed it back enough to just win my class. I'm up around 40 events between the year and last and 7 hours-long track days.

Under normal condition the trans would be fine. I am not complaining.

Im just talking shit lol like I said Ive even been driving mine untuned for over a week just to get stupid mpgs

Havent posted it up in a while, still love it. I got the tune revised after some datalogging over the weekend and added a little pep back in its step
