which would you reccomned on a t3/t4 or a t25
an internal waste gate or just take it off and run an external wastegate?
 
it certainly depends on your goal for the car.


you can't just 'take off' an internally gated turbo and call it a day either....

that really depends on the application, personal preference, and what kind of boost you want to run. i prefer external simply because you have the option of changing the spring to suit your needs. need 2bar? no problem swap the spring. also, it can give you an easier and larger range of operation. for example, my civic(when i finally get it done) will run a super light spring--0.25bar(3.6psi)-- and will use an electronic boost controller in the setup(apexi avc-r). that way, i'll have nice low boost for city driving with the capability of going as high as its tuned for on the fly
