obd2b car and put in a b18, ive used the obd2b ek4 loom with a chipped p28.
I thought this would all plug and play but i have some problems...
The car seems like it doesnt want to run?! it barley idles and around 1.5k the revs bounce until i give it some more gas and will rev upto 4k...
As title really, dizzy plug has 9 wires and loom
plug has 8 wires? What is the extra wire for? Im
guessing its not plug and play. Oh loom is b series and so is dizzy obviously :)
as title, im currently running a
d16y7
in my 99 coupe which is obd2B.
How much wiring/modification
will be needed to make it run the
d16y8 which is obd2A?
Can i just change sensors from
my obd2b d16y7 and put them
onto
the obd2a d16y8?
so i fitted a b18c4 along with a s21 gearbox but the are a few problems;
1) when starting up cold, the revs sit at just under 1k. Isnt it meant to be higher when cold - what the fitv does? but the engine doesnt have a fitv
2) when starting up warm, the revs jump between 300 to 700, so...
im in the middle of doin a coversion from OBD0 to OBD1, going from a d15b2 to d16z6..
having trouble figuring out which wires go where for the dizzy adaptors, ive added pics so any help would be great.
so i know what is envolved with doing the d15b2 dpfi to the d16z6 mpfi swap, but is it the same for the d13a2 swap? What else is needed? i know i would have to go from odb0 to obd1 (have the harness)
But how would i do the wiring for going from carb (d13a2) to mpfi(d16z6)?
what your doing is basically giving it more legs but it doesnt know how to use it, it... if that makes sense ^_^
you either need;
AFC hack - its ok but doesnt do anything with timing
FMU - errghh no thanks
or best way;
chipped ECU with some sort of program (crome, hondata etc).. get...
