you wanna eliminate your headaches? get the head and dizzy that matches the engine harness and ecu. you will have continuous problems with the setup your running.
use your stock harness...goto Welcome to boomslang.com and get the correct jumper harness for your car/ecu combo. than IF additional wiring will be needed (most likely; crank fluctuation, o2, vtec etc. etc.), have those pinout diagrams ready or have it proffesionally done.
you will have CEL codes being thrown if you run the p28 and the idle will be affected somewhat when the car warms up. will idle lower than normal. play it safe and run obd1 LS ecu.
the ecu most likely came out of an automatic. I have seen this pretty often when people bring us their ecu's to get chipped, we test them in our cars to see if they are auto/manual. Usually when they are auto they will not rev past 4k just like yours. find a manual ecu and make sure it is...

did a little re-search, wondering if this setup i put together would be ideal since i want way more than 180whp NA....
84mm bore x 95mm stroke via SCAT forged crankshaft
13.0:1 compression cp pistons
crower rods w/arp rod bolts
itr oil/water pumps
toda spec-c cams

ok here is the setup...just wondering if anyone ever had something similiar with their ls/vtec build and wondering what kind of power they put down... my friend has a b18c5 in his 94 cx hatch and has bolt-ons. my goal is just to rape the ever living shit out of him on the street (in my dc2) =)...
