    H22 is running

Ok so I got my H22A running in my 96 accord after fixing a couple wiring problems that I had. It has been a while since I looked up the stuff for "fit and finish" on this swap so I figured I would ask some people who have done it. First off these questions are for people who have direct...

    I feel stupid

Rofl ok I will wait until tomorrow when I get the scanner from work. Google leads to this site and others such as honda-tech.com and hondahookup.com, like I said there is plenty of info on doing this for an OBD1 car I was just hoping there was a way to do it on an OBD2 vehicle.

    96 accord with H22A BB4 wont start

Hmmm ok I replaced the main relay, and it still doesnt do anything. I think the old relay was fine as I can hear and feel it clicking when I turn the key on and off. My check engine light does come on but it stays on it does not go out. My fuel pump is priming. :( this is so frustrating.

    96 accord with H22A BB4 wont start

I was thinking about that. I have never replaced one its the PGMFI relay right? Is that likely since the car was running fine prior to the swap? I was hoping the relay was in the box that came with all the wiring from the H22A but alas it was not. Is there a way to test the relay without buying...

    h22 wiring

There arent many directions on how to do it that make sense. Trust me I just finished doing this. The easy way I found to do it was to set the old and new engine next to each other. Take the old harness and attach it to the new engine, you can now see where you will need to lengthen sensor wires...

    injector wiring problems

Yea I dont see how you could mess up the plugs unless you took all the sheething off the injector harness. If you hooked them up wrong the car probably wouldnt run at all, but since I have never done this im not sure. Could you post a pic of your spark plugs numbered with the cylinder they came...

    Benefits of OBD1???

There is one major advantage that OBD1 has over OBD0 or OBD2. That is that all hondata ECU upgrades must be done to a OBD1 ECU and many other ECU upgrade companies only offer stuff for OBD1. This is probably not enough to make you want to change but its the main reason I went from OBD2 to OBD1.
