When I goto start my car in the morning or after work basicly dead cold when the car is starting to warm up like oil pressure is at 70 PSI and coolant gauge in dash is starting to move the idle drops and the car feels like it's going to stall out I have to give it gas and haven't seen or tried...
I have a 91' Civic HB with a B16 in it/ I'm using a YS-1 trans. The passenger side axle does not sit all the way in and seems to almost pop out and it's LEAKing really bad. I'm using 90'-93' inetgra axles and I removed the spacer and dust sheilds from the inner hub Why is this not fitting right...
As long as you're using OBD0 injectors on a OBD 0 B series techinically they will work BUT it will run like crap and they are not practical at all.. try to goto a junkyard and get some off a 90'-93' LS integra. I'm using my old DOHC ZC injectors on my B16.
O.k. I just put in my new project motor after blowing up my old one. It's a B16A. Here's the problem... when driving at partial or less then half throttle it has a mis-fire / hesitation / boggin what ever it's doing it and I can feel it cause I'm running PR sold mounts and I can see it in my A/F...
Why do you guys with D series always feel the need to buy a turbo kit thats almost $3,000 and the one thats isn't from greddy barely gives you anything. Dude you want t a turbo but don't want to spend alot of $$$. www.homemadeturbo.com here's a good site. Just go " Junkyard " I built and made my...
Ouch.... I hate theives. I'm running 91' Miata alloys on my EF. I painted them black and they kind of look like Advans. They are 14" which is perfect for me and only weight 11LB's. If I had pic.'s I'd show them but no digi cam. Also the best part is I got them for Free. I used to be a Mazda...
Doesn't really matter when is comes to N/A or F/I it's really a personal preference and of course the amount of $$$$. Of course you will always be able to make more HP with boost and it's easier to get it but I guess some people just swear vy N/A. I used to have a turbo ZC motor in my EF... I...
Yup dido. Try again.. if you used old or used hubs you don't know what conditon the bearing was in. Also when doing your swap did you ever push the car around with the motor out of the car and didn't leave your axles in the hubs cause if you do that it'll mess up the wheel bearings thaty could...
Well I know all you have to do when going from a EF si harness to B16 is just wire in the VTec stuff and 2nd o2 sensor. Well for one B18's LS's don't have knock sensor if I'm right so thats one thing you'll have to take out. You may just have to remove all the VTec and Knock sensor stuff and be...
What tools are you using my friend. I've gotten off tons and tons of D series flywheel bolts with just using a 3/8 12 point IMPACT socket on a 3/8 impact gun NOT WRENCH. If you're using a air wrench or hand wrench for that matter your making too much work out of something simple. If you don't...
After blowing up my turbo ZC I've now switched to B series. I have a OBD 1 Cable trans B16a. But I switched the dizzy , injectors , and ECU so I'm running it as a OBD 0 motor. Now my question is on my old ZC harness and basicly is the same as any 88'-91' Civic/CR-X Si if I remember the motors...
I'm ordering my wires and modified car today but I'm not sure with OBD0 B16 dizzy what kind of car do you get the cap for running a external coil. I would say 92'-93 GS-R but they are OBD1 and I believe they're different. I;m guess it's just the same as a 90'-91' LS integra ? Right ? This may...
Yes I have seen these engines he's talking about they make them in a High compression for N/A set-up and low compression for turbo/F/I. BUT they finally released the HP #'s and I was not impressed at all for how much the suckers cost. I believe it was like only 220HP to the wheels and for the...
besides going threw 6 dizzy's it was a good motor. ZC's are funny and one day they'll work fine and the next it'll give you or act stupid but for the money you can't beat it.
