i did this swap into my 96 hatch ....i changed my rear engine BRACKET not mount and the front right tranny bracket, again not the mount.......and on the driver's side i had to change the braket with the 2 holes for the mount bolts (the bracket thats actually on the engine under the cam gears)

i WOULD TRY CHANGING THE BRAKET PART THAT IS STICKING OUT OF THE MOTOR....USE ONE FROM AN INTEGRA......WHEN PUTTING AN LS MOTOR INTO MY ek CIVIC I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND I PUT THE BRACKET FROM AN SI ON THE LS MOTOR AND IT WORKED...I WAS TOLD THAT IF MY CAR WAS AN EG THE LS MOTOR WOULD HAVE...
I DID AN LS SWAP IN MY CIVIC FOR ABOUT $2000...
600 FOR THE MOTOR
400 FOR THE TRANNY
600 FOR LABOR
300 +/- IN MISCELLANEOUS PARTS....SHIFT LINKAGE....BRAKETS....etC
ok....i guess if i want better flow i'll have to go after matrket then. I was thinking of getting headers with 2.25 inch piping to the stock gs-r muffler so my car would be somewhat quiet but i was told that would not help my performance because of the fact that i would still be using the...
ok........my car is a 96 civic hatch with a b18b ......i have a gsr muffler on the car now.......but i heard that the type r muffler opens up at certain rpm's for better air flow......i really don't want my car to be loud....this is y i want to stick with a stock muffler
I heard the automatic ls and manul motors are exactly the same....i also heard since mine is jdm i have 9.4 compression & 145hp/129 lb ft of tourque instead of 9.2 compression 142hp/127lb ft of tourque that the american 1's have.....
Its a jdm ls motor that had an automatic transmission on it so it had no flywheel on it. But i'm using a manual gs-r tranny.......and what is a bumpstick?????
